On behalf of the 2025 National Student Success Conference organizers, we hope you will consider submitting an educational proposal for the 2025 conference.

We are accepting proposals beginning October 1, 2024, from potential presenters to lead engaging conversations around innovative thoughts, research, programs, and initiatives supporting student success in higher education. Potential topics include but are not limited to:

  • A.I. in Education: Exploring how artificial intelligence can create personalized learning experiences and support individual student paths.
  • Student Engagement/Success: Innovative practices to increase student involvement and connection with their learning communities, including effective communication strategies.
  • Affordability Strategies: Addressing financial barriers, including FAFSA challenges, with creative solutions to make education accessible to all.
  • Volunteerism and Leadership: Encouraging student participation in governance and volunteer activities as part of a holistic education experience.
  • Workforce Development: Preparing students for the future workforce through tailored career development programs.
  • Equity in Education: Addressing systemic inequalities to provide equitable access and opportunities for all students.
  • Mental Health and Well-being: Supporting student success by integrating mental health resources and awareness into educational settings.
  • Innovative Teaching Practices: Sharing cutting-edge teaching methodologies and technologies with educators to improve student outcomes.
  • Academic Advocacy / Coaching & Advising Models: Content highlighting the differences in the two roles, recruiting and retaining advising/coaching talent, innovations in program deployment, and implementing data-driven solutions for at-risk students.

All proposals are due by Saturday, December 13, 2024

Proposal Review Committee Timeline
Evaluations of all submittals December 16 – January 6, 2025
Notification to presenters about selections January 8, 2025

Session Length:
There will be six kinds of presentations considered. You can apply for one or all of the formats:

  1. Preconference Workshop (3-hour session)
  2. Traditional 50-minute presentations
  3. Poster Session
  4. Pecha Kucha (20 slides x 20 seconds Each)
  5. An emerging ideas Session of 15 minutes or less (you will be packaged with other presenters)
  6. Quick-chats – 7 minutes in a fire-side chat type of “lounge” or meeting space
